| About Daphne Livoni Daphne Livoni is a licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, & Nutritionist. Daphne has been practicing holistic medicine for over 15 years now. Prior to her current holistic career, she practiced western medicine for fifteen years. Daphne earned her Bachelor of Science from UC Davis , and her Master of Science in Asian Medicine from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley (formerly Meiji College). Where she interned in acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, homeopathy, and flower essences. Her practice focuses on healing for the whole being, looking beyond symptomatic manifestations of illness and working with root conditions. Daphne is specially trained in the Japanese style of needling, which uses thinner needles, placed in the body for shorter durations of time, with a higher degree of needle stimulation. This technique results in a painless insertion along with a stronger treatment. Her ability to focus in on and heal imbalance in the body, using a gentle and safe needling technique along with highly sensitive communication skills, makes her a effective, successful healer. |
